Call for Papers

The official call for papers deadline has now passed. It is still possible to submit abstracts for this conference by contacting the Conference Secretariat directly.

Scope and topics for abstract submission:

  • Structural metals and alloys including aluminum, steel, nickel and titanium alloys relevant to aircraft, ship/naval, military/ commercial vehicle structures
  • Systematic, comprehensive experimental studies, particularly those in conjunction with novel analysis or  modelling approaches
  • Overload/underload, arbitrary loading sequences, service spectrum loads
  • Residual stress effects and measurement of internal stresses
  • Extreme environments, including high temperature, cryogenic temperatures, corrosive and abrasive environments pertinent to service conditions
  • Innovative theoretical approaches, related computational work and analytical methods
  • Life prediction methodologies for structural metals and alloys

For revisions or queries regarding abstracts already submitted

If you do not receive acknowledgement for your abstract submission or you wish to make any essential revisions to an abstract already submitted, please DO NOT RESUBMIT your abstract, as this may lead to duplication. Please email the Conference Secretariat with details of any revisions or queries. Please quote your reference number if you have one.

The decision on the acceptance of all abstracts will be made by 7 February 2008.
